Berlin FD Battles Trash Blaze At Movie Theater

BERLIN, CT — Sometimes, a movie is so bad critics will classify the production as a veritable "dumpster fire."

Well, the Berlin Volunteer Fire Department Tuesday, literally had to deal with a dumpster fire — and it was at a local movie theater parking lot.

The BVFD posted dramatic images of debris near a dumpster at the Picture Show movie theater at 19 Frontage Road in the Kensington section of Berlin.

According to firefighters, the stinky little inferno was called in at about 1:50 p.m. Tuesday.

As expected, fire crews arrived quickly and were able to put out the dumpster fire.

But if you think some of the movies are "dumpster fires," there's nothing the BVFD can do.
