BERLIN, CT — Less-than-stellar cooperation from Mother Nature has prompted the Kensington Fire Department in Berlin to push back its planned open house a day.

Originally slated for Saturday, the open house at 880 Farmington Ave. will now take place from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 22, to avoid a rainy forecast.

The event aims to showcase what the KFD has to offer and provide a fun event for children and families.
