Berlin High School Grapplers Qualify for State Open
The Redcoats had an individual champion and two other placewinners at the Class M championships.

GUILFORD, CT — A trio of wrestlers from Berlin High School will be competing in the State Open next weekend, following impressive performances in the Class M championships at Guilford High School.
The Redcoats had an individual champion and two other placewinners, winding up 10th in team competition with 99 points.
For the first time, Ellis Tech won the Class M title, compiling 213.5 points to outdistance Foran's 183.5. Guilford was third with 170 points.

The State Open will begin Friday, Feb. 26 at 4 p.m. at the Floyd Little Athletic Center in New Haven.
