Berlin High Student Honored at Annual Donate Life Ceremony

From Berlin High School: BHS art student Bo Dehm Wicklund submitted artwork to the 27th Annual Visual Arts Competition sponsored by Donate Life Connecticut. This annual contest is intended to raise awareness across Connecticut high schools about organ and tissue donation and the importance of becoming a registered donor.

Bo’s submission earned an Honorable Mention, which she received at the awards ceremony at the State Capitol on Friday, March 31, 2017.

April is National Donate Life Month and features local, regional, and national activities to help encourage Americans to register as organ, eye, and tissue donors and to celebrate those that have saved lives through the gift of donation.
