Berlin History Museum Is Open Despite Flood Damage
Last month's floods damaged part of the historical society facility, but not any artifacts.

BERLIN, CT — Despite some flood damage last month after the tremendous rains last month, the Berlin Historical Society Museum remains open.
According to the society, water soaked the downstairs carpeting and it was expected to take a few weeks to abate and replace the flooring in the all-purpose room.
Officials report the museum's upper level "is fine" and will be open Saturdays from 1 to 4 p.m. as normal but without access to the elevator.
