Berlin Home Decoration Store To Open Soon

BERLIN, CT — A new home decoration store will open soon in Berlin. Bungalow on the Ave is located at 945 Farmington Ave. and will open Thursday, The Meriden Record-Journal reported.

The store will sell rustic furniture, rugs, home decor, stationery, and other eclectic items. Owners Lisa Raia and Scott Jordan, a married couple, have been renovating the space since July.

The 3,000-square-foot space was formerly the A.S. Labieniec feed store.

Most of the items at the store are locally made. The store's website says it's "the antidote to impersonal online shopping."

"A visit to Bungalow on the Ave is like a shopping outing with a tried-and-true best friend," according to the store's website. "The one who totally gets you and has the uncanny ability to pick out items you might not otherwise have considered…and they just work.
