Berlin Library Celebrates Native American Heritage Month
It is promoting several titles in its collection that deal with Native American issues, culture, and history.
BERLIN, CT — The Berlin-Peck Memorial Library is celebrating Native American Heritage Month, which is in November, by promoting a month's worth of literature on hand regarding that topic.
The library, located at 234 Kensington Road, Berlin, has plenty of books on Native American history and culture in stock and ready for borrowing.
According to the U.S. Department of Interior's Indian Affairs division, National Native American Heritage Month is celebrated each year in November.

"It is a time to celebrate the traditions, languages, and stories of Native American, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, and affiliated Island communities and ensure their rich histories and contributions continue to thrive with each passing generation," wrote federal officials.
