The poet will then write a poem inspired by the piece of art they have been assigned.
On the evening of the reception on April 11, the library will celebrate both the poem and the artwork that inspired it.
"There will be an opportunity to participate in both the call for poetry and art. We are thrilled to offer this program to people of all ages," wrote the library.
The Berlin-Peck Memorial Library is located at 234 Kensington Road, Berlin.
