Berlin: Major Cross-Country Meet To Impact Local Park

The meet will take place Tuesday afternoon into the evening at Pistol Creek Park.

BERLIN, CT — A major middle school cross-country meet will impact trails at a local park Tuesday afternoon, as well as the local dog park there.

The Town of Berlin announced that a league championship event is slated to take place at Pistol Creek Park, 600 Spruce Road, Berlin.

Local officials said runners will be using the non-clubhouse side of the trail system there.

It will start at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 24.

In addition, the cross-country meet means the dog park there will be closed from 2:30 to 5 p.m., town officials said.
