Berlin Man Injured When Car Drives Into Southington Building

SOUTHINGTON, CT — A Berlin resident was injured Wednesday night when his car drove into the front part of a gas station in Southington, police said.

Brett Smith, 42, was hospitalized after he drove his car into the Sunoco station at 957 West Street shortly after 8:30 p.m., police said.

A police sergeant told Patch there was moderate damage to the building. An investigation is ongoing.
