Berlin Mayor Race: GOP's Kaczynski Wins Handily
Republican Berlin Mayor Mark Kaczynski easily won another term, garnering 64 percent of the vote.

BERLIN, CT — The town's GOP incumbent will serve another term as Berlin's top elected official, handily winning Tuesday night's municipal race against a Democratic challenger.
According to unofficial results from the Connecticut Secretary of the State's office, Republican incumbent Mayor Mark H. Kaczynski easily defeated Democrat JoAnn Angelico-Stetson, 3,037-1,695.
In doing so, Kaczynski took home more than 64 percent of the total votes cast.

Kaczynski, 67, was first elected mayor of Berlin in 2015 and, prior to that, he played a major role in governing the town's development while serving on the Berlin Planning and Zoning Commission for 16 years.
Angelico-Stetson, 62, served on several boards and commissions in town, including the school board, economic development commission and the Berlin Town Council.
