
Daniel “Danny” Sirois, 74, of Lady Lake, Fl, and formerly of Berlin and West Hartford, passed away unexpectedly in Connecticut on Tuesday, August 16, 2016. He was the husband of Florine (Corriveau) Albert-Sirois, and was predeceased by his first wife, Kathleen.
Born in Canada, he was the son of the late Alphonse and Louise (Malenfant) Sirois. He was a longtime Berlin resident before moving to Florida in 2008. He was a member of St. Jean Baptiste Societe and was a former member of St. Paul Church, Indian Hill Country Club and the Thursday Night Golf League at Timberlin Golf Course. Danny loved spending time outdoors and playing golf. He was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots Fan. He enjoyed bowling and playing cards as well.
He came to the United States in 1961 where he worked as an employee at Sirois Tool. In 1967, he became a part owner of the company and in 1971 he became the owner. Under his leadership, Sirois Tool expanded and today Sirois Tool remains a thriving business owned by Alan Ortner, who learned the business under the guidance of Daniel.

Surviving are his wife, Florine “Flo” Albert-Sirois; three sons, Gary D. Sirois and his wife Mary, Michael J. Sirois, David A. Sirois and his wife Megan; three grandchildren, Sarah, Patrick, and Allison; and his brothers and sisters, Egide, Launa, Georgette, Gaetane, Jinette, Adelme, Gaston, Claire, Jean Paul, Jacinethe, Lucie, Francois, Francine, and Herman. He is also survived by many very special friends, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Hubert and sister Brigette.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 9 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Paul Church. Burial will be in Maple Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday from 5-8 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home.
