Berlin Obituary: Edward McMurray, 83

Edward G. McMurray, 83, of Plainville, died Thursday (June 9, 2016) at the John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington.

Born in New Britain, he lived 25 years in Berlin and was a Plainville resident for the last 30 years. He had been employed at New Britain General Hospital (now Hospital of Central Connecticut) for 25 years. He was a longtime member of the Svea Club, the Amber Club and the Quartette Club.

Mr. McMurray is survived by his daughter, Sharon Pascale of Farmington, his son Kris McMurray of Kensington; his two grandchildren, Christina Pascale and Michael Pascale and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday (June 13, 2016) with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Paul’s Church, Kensington, at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow in Maple Cemetery, Berlin. There are no calling hours.
