Elsie J. (Marino) Morrell, 82, passed away on Sunday at home after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Gerlone) Marino and was raised in Kensington.
She resided in Newington most of her life with her husband C. Vincent Morrell. Besides her husband, she leaves her daughter Colleen Roberts and husband Neil of New Britain. Her son Charles and wife Margaret of Portland. In addition she leaves her grandson (and wonderful caregiver) Kyle. Besides Kyle, she leaves her step-grandson Daniel Steele and her two great-grandsons Danny and Damian; in addition to several nieces and nephews.
Prior to retirement, she worked for Skinner Chuck Mfg., Man power, and Holmes Transportation. After retirement, she and Vinny traveled the country by motorcycle, as well as motorhome. In her spare time, she enjoyed volunteer work at NBGH childcare, and bowling.

She was predeceased by her grandson Woody, in addition to her brother Louis and sister Eleanor.
Family and friends are invited to call at the Rose Hill Funeral Home 580 Elm St. Rocky Hill on Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 4 to 7 PM with a prayer service at 6:30 PM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill.
