Florence N. Czerwinski, 86, of Kensington, wife of Lucian Czerwinski, passed away Thursday, August 25th after a brief illness at Ledgecrest Health Care Center.
Born on Blue Hills Farm in Kensington on June 7, 1930, she was the daughter of the late John and Josephine (Lewandowski) Nalewajek. She was a lifelong resident of Kensington. She loved being raised on the family farm and enjoyed sharing many stories about the chores and the animals she loved. She was a member of the St. Paul Catholic Church in Kensington.
Florence loved life and her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Florence and her husband of sixty-three years enjoyed many wonderful times together. She enjoyed taking trips, knitting, cooking, and gardening but baking apple pies and raisin bread for her family was one of her greatest joys. Florence was also employed by the Fafnir Bearing and Textron Co. of New Britain.
