Berlin Obituary: Gloria Cannon, 53

Gloria Lynn Cannon, 53, of Berlin, passed away peacefully on Monday, Nov. 21, 2016 after a long courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Wilmington, DE, she was the daughter of the late Frank Tarallo and Barbara (Henry) DelValle. She was raised in New Britain and later lived in Florida and Tennessee before moving back to CT. Gloria was a loving and spiritual person and always had a smile even during her difficult days. She loved animals, especially her four beloved fur babies, and enjoyed her motorcycle, gardening, nature and music. Gloria had a strong faith in God and was a member of the Freedom Fellowship Church in Greenville TN before moving back to Berlin.

Gloria is survived by two sisters, Melissa Tatro and her husband James of Berlin, and Nancy Bennett of Tavernier, Florida; two brothers, Richard DelValle and his wife Jessica of North Branford and Kevin Tarallo of Bristol; her dearest friend, Rochelle; her mentor and friend Tara, her nephews, Jimmy, Wayne, Kevin, Ricky, and Carson; several aunts, & cousins, her Uncle Jon and several grandnieces and grandnephews that she adored.

Relatives and friends may call at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 South Main St., New Britain on Thursday December 22, 2016 between 4-6pm. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery at a later date.
