
Harold Louis Phillipe Michaud, 90, of Kensington/Farmington, died on Thursday, November 23, 2017.
He was born June 21, 1927, in Fort Kent, ME; son of the late Victorie and Catherine (Plourde) Michaud. Harold graduated from New Britain High School and attended TCC now Central Connecticut State University. He worked as a purchasing manager for Marlin-Rockwell Corporation and then after retiring worked in the Men’s department at Macys for several years. Harold was a member of the Newington Ski Club and Big Brothers Big Sister.
He is survived by his 5 primary care nieces, Yvette Devoe of Southington, Tina Bernacki of Litchfield, Linda Eumenidi of Somers, Barbara Ginnetti of Sturart, FL, and W. Simsbury, and Janice Smith of Bonita Springs FL., and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his nephew, James Michaud, and siblings, Edgar, Lawrence, Reginald, and Gerald.

Relatives and friends may join the family for calling hours on Thursday, November 30, 2017, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Vincent Funeral Home, 880 Hopmeadow St., Simsbury, followed by a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Sienna Church in W. Simsbury. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers and in memory of our uncle Harold, donations may be made to The Alzheimer’s Resource Center of CT, 1261 S Main St, Plantsville, CT 06479 will be gratefully accepted.
