
Jean Signe (Alling) Corson, 83, of New Britain, daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Lundell) Alling, passed away Friday (September 30, 2016) at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain.
Born in New Britain she was a former Kensington resident, moving back to New Britain in 1962. Jean is a graduate of Berlin High School , and was employed at Honeywell-Skinner Valve until her retirement in 1995. She was a longtime member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, New Britain and served as an office volunteer at the church.
Surviving is a son, Alan Corson of New Britain; a niece, Kendra Alling and her wife Pamela St. John of Niantic; a nephew, Jeff Alling and his wife Vicky Padgett of North Pole, Alaska; two grandchildren, Aaron and Justin Corson; and a great granddaughter, Lilith Scott. She also leaves a daughter-in-law, Jennifer Corson of Swansey, NH. She was predeceased by a son, David Corson and a granddaughter, Ashley Hartwich and her former husband Kenneth Corson.

Funeral services are Tuesday 1 PM at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 147 West Main Street, New Britain. Burial will follow in West Lane Cemetery, Kensington. There are no calling hours.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Marks Episcopal Church.
