Louise B. Cox, 79, of Kensington, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 30, 2016. She was the wife of Ronald Cox, Sr.
Born in New Britain on May 27, 1937, a daughter of the late Arnoldo and Ida (Bergomi) Brighenty, Louise was employed as a service manager for Ceridian Payroll Services before her retirement. She was a parishioner of St. Paul Church. Louise loved to be with her family – especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking, sewing and her home.
Besides her husband of 58 years, Louise is survived by a son: Ronald Cox, Jr. of Wallingford, 3 grandchildren: Katie, Charlotte and Adam Cox, a sister: Ada Brighenty of Kensington, a brother: John Brighenty of Newington and several nieces and nephews. Louise was pre-deceased by 2 brothers: Peter Brighenty and Arnoldo Brighenty, Jr.

Friends and family may call at the Berlin Memorial Funeral Home, 96 Main St., Kensington on Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Everyone is invited to go directly to St. Paul Church, 467 Alling Street Kensington on Friday, June 3, 2016 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
