Berlin Obituary: Marie Dawkins, 84

Marie (Falconieri) Dawkins, 84, of Berlin, loving and devoted wife, of the late Otto P. Dawkins, Jr., passed away peacefully, Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Hartford Hospital with her family by her side.

She was born July 29, 1932 in Hartford and was the daughter of the late Frank and Consiglia (Milite) Falconieri. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her children, Sharon Sposito and husband, Ted, Thomas Barry and wife, Rosanna and Otto P. Dawkins, III and wife Lorraine, two sisters, Carmela Arvisais and Raffaella Cote, 6 loving grandchildren, Teddy and wife, Jessica, Lindsey, Andrew, Tyler, Amber and Zackary, 4 great grandchildren, Chinalee, Anthony, Theo and Makenzie along with many nieces, nephews and several close and dear friends.

Funeral service will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd. Wethersfield. The burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
