Normand Maurice Emond, 88, of Berlin, beloved husband of Nancy (Santangelo) Emond, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at the Sgt. John L. Levitow Veterans Health Center in Rocky Hill.
Born in Middletown, he was the son of the late Joseph and Alma (Trembley) Emond.Norm had lived in Berlin for the past eighteen years and was a member of Saint John Church in Middletown. He was a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War where he received a Purple Heart.
Along with his wife, Norm is survived by his two sons, Normand Emond and his wife, Suzanne of Portland and Harold Emond of Berlin; his sister, Jacqueline Clark of Rhode Island; and two grandchildren, Nicholas and Nicole Emond. Besides his parents, Norm was predeceased by his sister, Doris Lizotte.
