Berlin Open Houses Oct. 10-11: A Cape On A Former Orchard, A New Solar Build And A Ranch On An Acre

BERLIN, CT — Berlin's three open houses this weekend include a Cape on land that was once part of an apple orchard, with its own mature apple tree and a bluestone fire pit patio.

There's also a brand-new solar-powered house in Kensington and a ranch on more than an acre.

Three Berlin homes are holding open houses Saturday, Oct. 10, and Sunday, Oct. 11, with prices from $459,900 to $699,900, according to Zillow.com.

Saturday, Oct. 10

75 Tree Hill Road, noon to 2 p.m., $579,900. New to the market Oct. 8, this 1987 Cape has a white granite kitchen with a breakfast bar and a four-season sunroom. Out back are a newly redone Trex deck, a bluestone patio, and a built-in fire pit. The listing says the lot was once part of an apple orchard and still has a mature apple tree. Sunday, Oct. 11

22 Elton Road, noon to 2 p.m., $459,900. Delivery is possible within 30 days, with the lawn and trees to be installed this fall. It's a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home with 2,500 square feet on half an acre.
