Berlin PD To Sell Pink Patches For Breast Cancer

BERLIN, CT — Starting this week, the Berlin Police Department will be selling special pink patches of the department shield to benefit the fight against breast cancer.

The Berlin Police Department will be participating in the Pink Patch Project for Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October.

"Breast cancer is a disease that affects many and our family is not exempt," wrote the BPD.

As a result, the BPD will have pink patches for public sale starting Friday, Sept. 15. Patches will be $10 each and proceeds will be donated to a breast cancer charity.

Patches can be picked up at the police department or mailed.

All orders must be place through BPD Officer Aimee Krzykowski at akrzykowski@berlinpd.org as patches will not be sold at the department.
