Berlin PD: 'Takeback Day' To Get Drugs Off The Streets
Unwanted and unneeded medications can be safely disposed of Saturday at Berlin Town Hall.
BERLIN, CT — National Drug Takeback Day is being recognized in several Connecticut towns and Berlin is no different.
Local officials will be at Berlin Town Hall on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Town hall is located at 240 Kensington Road.
"If you have expired, unused, unwanted medications in your home this is a great opportunity to safely dispose of them," wrote the Berlin Police Department.

Takeback Day is a federal Drug Enforcement Agency initiative aimed at taking unwanted and unnecessary drugs, especially narcotics, off the street and disposed of in a safe and environmentally friendly manner.
Police and health departments nationwide are conducting collection efforts to take these narcotics off the streets.
