WANTED: Food Donations In Berlin

BERLIN, CT — The Berlin Police Department is looking to help restock the shelves of the town's food pantry and a special event Saturday aims to do just that.

The BPD is hosting its 18th annual "Stuff a Cruiser" event at the Berlin Stop & Shop supermarket, 1135 Farmington Ave.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 28, shoppers are being asked to donate enough non-perishable food items to fill up the cruiser.

Those items will be donated to the Berlin Food Pantry, which is always looking to stock its shelves for the needy as the weather turns cooler and the holiday season approaches.
