Berlin PD Welcomes Two New Officers

BERLIN, CT — Berlin's police ranks recently grew by two with new additions to the Berlin Police Department announced last week.

According to the BPD, both officer Michael Almeida and Ryan Johnson were sworn in to duty on Friday, Sept. 22.

But they're not done learning.

Both will be attending the state police academy in October and, after a few weeks of intense training, they will have field training in Berlin.

Then, the duo will be on the streets keeping the peace.

"Make sure you welcome the newest members of Berlin PD when you see them," wrote the BPD.
