Berlin PD's Newest Officer Finishes Academy, More Are Sought

BERLIN, CT — With one new officer ready to hit the beat, the Berlin Police Department is looking for a few good men and women to fill out its ranks.

The department recently offered congratulations to Officer Roy Pena and the rest of POST Class 381, who graduated last week from the Connecticut Police Academy in Meriden.

Pena will now begin his field training with the BPD.

The department is hoping more will join him soon as they're currently hiring certified and entry-level officers.
