Berlin PD's Staff Grows, Evolves
A pair of new officers recently completed basic training with another pair of BPD law enforcers began training this week.

BERLIN, CT β The ranks of Berlin's finest continue to grow and evolve with the recent addition of two new officers last week and the completion of basic training for two others this week.
The Berlin Police Department announced Thursday that officers Michael Almeida and Ryan Johnson finished their basic training as part of the 380th session of the Connecticut Police Academy in New Britain on Wednesday.
Next up for the duo is a 15-week field training program in Berlin, the completion of which allows the officers to patrol the beat as solo officers.

Meanwhile, last week, the BPD swore in two new officers β Alan Yang and Brody Mongelli β who this week are starting basic training at another session of the New Britain Police Academy.
