Berlin Police Department Grows By Two

BERLIN, CT β€” The town's police department grew by two recently with the announcement Thursday that two have joined the force.

According to the Berlin Police Department, the duo was sworn in recently at Berlin Town Hall.

Joining the force are officers Mary Claffey and Cole Wendehack.

The BPD said Claffey comes after serving the Cheshire Police Department and will be on patrol after a brief training period in Berlin.

Meanwhile, police officials said Wendehack will begin his training at the Connecticut Police Academy in Meriden, where he will complete a six-month training stint.
