Berlin Police, Fire Responders Honored By Local Rotary
The Kensington-Berlin Rotary Club celebrated Berlin's finest and bravest at its annual responder breakfast.
BERLIN, CT β Both the town's finest and bravest were honored over the weekend by the local Rotary Club.
The Kensington-Berlin Rotary Club hosted its annual First Responders Appreciation Breakfast on Saturday morning, with good food and camaraderie on the menu.
The event featured an a cappella group, The Ringtones, singing the National Anthem and a proclamation from Berlin Mayor Mark Kaczynski for First Responders Day.

Berlin Police Department Chief Matthew J. McNally IV said the day honoring local police and the Berlin Volunteer Fire Department was a success and much appreciated.
"Thank you to so many people who came out to support our first responders, and to all of the sponsors who make this happen each year," he wrote on social media. "Thank you to all of our First Responders for your daily efforts throughout the year."
