Berlin Police Honor Finest of Finest
Annual awards ceremony this month fetes department accomplishments in 2021.
BERLIN, CT — The Berlin Police Department recently honored the finest of its finest at its annual awards ceremony that recognizes both employees and citizens.
Because of past pandemic impacts, the ceremony conducted earlier this month recognized honors accrued in 2019, 2020 and 2021.
While honorees the two prior years were recognized in subseuent years, there was no formal, in-person ceremony.

• Officer of the Year — Det. Brett Kelly.
• Jeffrey G. Casner Award — Ofc. Maegan Musanti.
• Life Saving Awards: Sgt. Tyler Cyr; Sgt. Scott Schreiner; Det. Theodore Fuini; Det. Colin Gaffey; Ofc. Aimee Krzykowski; Ofc. Isabella Delgado; Ofc. Christopher Lajoie; Denise Muszynski; and Debbie Rupsis.
