Berlin Police Lieutenant Suspended
He was deemed to be in violation of the authority of the Berlin Police Commission.

BERLIN, CT — A Berlin police lieutenant is currently under suspension after being found in violation of the authority of the Police Commission, the Berlin Citizen reported.
Lt. James Gosselin allegedly participated in a re-certification training for a former Berlin officer who was not employed by the department at the time.
A motion to issue Gosselin a written reprimand did not move, so Police Commission chairman Bob Peters made a motion for a five-day suspension, which passed.
