Berlin Resident Hits It Big In Powerball

The winning ticket was purchased this week in a Berlin convenience store.

BERLIN, CT — An East Berlin resident didn't completely hit the Powerball jackpot this week, but it is doubtful the person is complaining.

That's because, while the individual isn't a multi-millionaire after picking a good sequence of numbers, the bank account grew significantly larger this week.

According to the Connecticut Lottery Corp., a $250,000 Powerball ticket was purchased by a local resident in town on Tuesday, Sept. 17.
