Berlin Resident Nets Max Payout In Scratch-Off Game
Winning ticket purchased in Kensington section of town.
BERLIN, CT — The town's Kensington section was a nice place for a local resident to play the lottery, as a scratch-off game last Friday netted a sweet payout.
According to the Connecticut Lottery Corp., Kensington resident Gene Parks won $30,000 playing 30X Cash 9th Edition, a scratch-off game.
The winning ticket was sold at Simeone Enterprises LLC's Mobil Mart gas station/convenience store, which is located at 21 Chamberlain Highway, according to lottery officials.

The game costs $30 to play with a maximum payout of $30,000.
