Berlin Responders Endure Chaotic Night
The night of crashes has Berlin firefighters urging folks to stay safe on local roadways.

BERLIN, CT — The Berlin Volunteer Fire Department, police, and other emergency responders recently endured a chaotic night that had members urging folks to drive carefully.
The BVFD posted Saturday that it had to rush to three separate crashes locally Friday night into early Saturday morning.
"Please stay safe while on the roads and slow down/move over whenever you see flashing lights or emergency vehicles," wrote the department.

According to the BVFD, crews rushed to:
• A multi-vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 571 and High Road at 8:13 p.m. Friday.

One occupant was transported by Hunters Ambulance to an area hospital with minor injuries.
• A single-vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 5 North and Ramp E at 9:04 p.m.
There was a single occupant in the vehicle and no injuries were reported.
• A multi-vehicle accident with multiple occupants at the intersection of Route 5 North and North Colony Road at 2:18 a..m. Saturday.
One occupant was transported by Hunters Ambulance to an area hospital with minor injuries.
