Berlin Seeks Nonprofits To Participate In State Program

BERLIN, CT — Town officials are looking for local nonprofits to be part of a program where businesses can receive benefits on state taxes if they donate to qualifying organizations.
The Town of Berlin is accepting proposals from nonprofit organizations for community programs to be designated as eligible for business contributions under the Connecticut 2025 Neighborhood Assistance Act Tax Credit Program.
With that program, businesses would get tax breaks for donating to certain charitable and/or nonprofit causes, but those nonprofits must meet certain standards to be part of the program.
