Berlin Seniors Invited To Pick Up A Paddle

BERLIN, CT — The local senior center is offering seniors a means to get more exercise and get in on a fast-growing sport.

The Berlin Senior Center and Vale Co-op, a sports facility in Berlin, are offering indoor pickleball for local seniors three days a week starting on March 3.

It will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Vale's 510 Four Rod Road site in Berlin.

Pickleball will take place inside Vale's community center.

Pickleball is similar to tennis, except it uses a smaller paddle and a bigger ball, along with a smaller court.
