Berlin Seniors, Young Inventors Team Up To Show Their Knowledge
The school system's elementary schools are working with local senior citizens at a special 'Invention Convention' on Tuesday, Oct. 15.

BERLIN, CT — Local senior citizens will be able to see what Berlin's elementary school students have been up to, with the local senior center hosting a special "Invention Convention" on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, Oct. 15, from 1 to 4 p.m., the Berlin Senior Center, 33 Colonial Drive, Berlin, will be invaded by several young inventors from local elementary schools.

"Several elementary school students from area schools have been challenged to participate in an invention showcase and will take this opportunity to display and share their inventions with us and interact with us to get feedback," wrote the senior center.
Local seniors will get to act as mentors and judges for the students and can provide them with invaluable feedback to help their projects be successful.

"The idea is to blend youthful innovation with wisdom of experience to create a unique, intergenerational collaboration," wrote the senior center.
