Berlin Stores Among Recent Liquor License Suspensions in Connecticut

A total of 25 Connecticut establishments have had their liquor licenses suspended and/or paid a fine for violations since July.

BERLIN, CT — Since July, a total of 25 Connecticut establishments, including two in Berlin, have had their liquor licenses suspended by the Liquor Control Commission and/or paid fines for violations, according to data released by the state Department of Consumer Protection.

Top Shelf Wine & Liquors at 300 New Britain Road in Berlin served a one-day license suspension on Aug. 17 and paid a $500 fine for selling alcohol to a minor.

Plaza Liquors at 863 Beckley Road in Berlin served a one-day license suspension on Aug. 1 and paid a $3,000 fine for selling alcohol to a minor.
