Berlin Teacher Inducted Into National Hall of Fame

A local teacher was recognized for his contributions to education.

BERLIN, CT - Berlin High School teacher David Bosso, who won 2012 CT Teacher of the Year, was one of five people inducted into the National Teacher Hall of Fame.

Bosso, a social studies instructor, was recognized for his contributions to statewide policy as well as his mentorship of other teachers, according to The Meriden Record-Journal. He will travel to Washington, D.C. for induction and will have an opportunity to provide input on policy to the National Education Association.

Bosso was nominated for the award by Christopher Poulos, a teacher at Joel Barlow High School in Redding, The Record Journal reported.
