Berlin Turnpike Reopened Following Crash
The crash caused power lines to come down, closing the road, according to a report.

Repairs are complete and the Berlin Turnpike (U.S. Route 5) in Berlin has been reopened after a vehicle struck a pole in Berlin and took down utility lines late Sunday.
According to an NBC Connecticut report, the crash on the Berlin/Newington town lines occurred about 10 Sunday, No one was injured in the crash that was happened between Rowley Street and Deming Road near the Citco gas station around 10 p.m, according to WTIC.
However, there were power outages on the Newington/Berlin line and Connecticut Light & Power crews responded to repair the damage, according to the NBC report that can be found here.
