Berlin Unveils July 4 Holiday Weekend Impacts
The Fourth of July holiday is on Thursday, July 4, with municipal operations impacted over the long holiday weekend.
BERLIN, CT — With the Fourth of July holiday falling on a Thursday this year, how it impacts municipal operations in a given municipality is likely to vary.
Recently, the Town of Berlin officials announced its closings/operations schedule for the long holiday weekend. Included are:
• Berlin Town Hall and all departments will be closed on Thursday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day but will be open on Friday, July 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

• There will be no trash/recycling on Thursday, July 4. Trash/Recycling will be picked up one day later beginning Friday, July 5.
