BERLIN WEATHER UPDATE: Heavy Rain, Fog and Wind in the Forecast

After a glorious weekend of weather, which brought bright sunshine both days, and 70 degrees on Saturday, it’s back to reality today.

We’ll be dealing with heavy rain and fog for most of Monday and Monday night. Winds will be gusty between 25-30 mph for most of the day.

Up to an inch of rain is expected with the temperatures hovering in the high 40s to low 50s.

Rain will continue Monday night with another half inch possible before it ends early Tuesday. The temperatures should rebound on Tuesday as cloudy skies turn partly sunny in the afternoon and a high of 70 degrees possible.

More rain showers are possible Wednesday, followed by sunny skies Thursday, Friday, and into the weekend. Each day the temperatures are forecast to be in the low to mid-50s.

• Today: Rain. Patchy fog. High near 55. East wind 11 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
• Tonight: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 2am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2am. Cloudy, with a low around 51. Southeast wind 5 to 9 mph becoming calm after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
• Tuesday: A slight chance of showers before 8am. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 69. Southwest wind 6 to 9 mph becoming west in the morning.
• Tuesday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 43. Southwest wind 3 to 6 mph.
  
• Wednesday: A chance of showers, mainly after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 61. Southwest wind 5 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
• Wednesday night: A chance of showers, mainly before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 41. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
• Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 54.
• Thursday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 37.
• Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 53.
• Friday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 37.
• Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 55.
