Want To See Berlin's Top Holiday Decorated Homes? What You Need To Know

The Berlin Recreation Department awarded eight different categories in the annual Holiday House Decoration Contest.

BERLIN, CT — The votes are in and folks can still take a nice ride through town and see the winners in the Berlin Recreation Department's Holiday House Decorating Contest.

The town unveiled the list of winners this week. They are:

• Most Creative — the Glynn Family.

• Most Colorful — the Kowalczyk Family.

• Most Decorated — the Widlak Family.

• Classic/Traditional — the Cammarota Family.

• Inflatables — the Musanti Family.

• Best All White Light Display — the Henrique Family.

• Best Overall — the Ruggiero Family

• Elves Favorite (4) — the Cotto Family; the Allen Family; the Gwordz Family; and the Dauphin Family.

"The elves" were really a panel of roving volunteer judges who traveled throughout town to look at the displays.

The town has listed the streets folks can drive on via social media to see the displays.

"The elves really enjoyed driving around town, to not only view the houses that entered, but all of the beautifully decorated houses in Berlin," wrote the town's recreation department.
