BHS: BHS Broadcasting Club Honored For Work

    The Berlin Broadcasting department, including the student-run Berlin Broadcasting Club, earned three Bonnie B. Carney Awards of Excellence in Educational Communications in the categories of Social Media, Course Selection Guide, and Special Project. The awards are presented by the Connecticut Association of Boards of Education Inc.  The Broadcast Club consists of over 40 students in grades 9-12.  They produce video recordings and live streams of Berlin High School community events. The club is directed by Nicholas Smith, the Berlin School District’s Media Specialist.
