The New England Institute for Buddhist Studies will be offering a Body Mind Stress Reduction Workshop on November 17, 2014, at 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. at 343 Washington Terrace, Middletown, CT. A $50 contribution is requested at the door. This workshop is open to all.
Presented by meditation teacher, Melissa Lewis, this BMSR workshop offered by meditation teacher Melissa Lewis, RNBSN introduces a fresh powerful method for revitalizing our lives. Rather than expressing or repressing, this unique practice shows us how to directly transform the toxic energy of negativity into the medicinal energy of clear mind, healing to both body and mind.
BMSR practice is an ancient wisdom practice developed by Central Asian ascetics who were masters of the body’s energy systems. These practices include a variety of specific breathing techniques, postures, and acupressure points designed to transform our ineffective and potentially harmful emotional patterns into fresh new insight and healing. A consequence of BMSR practice is a natural improvement of our relationships and personal life’s journey.
