BERLIN, CT — Here are some recent notable achievements for college students from Berlin, as reported by readMedia Newswire.

Becker College, Worcester MA

• Three students from Berlin were named to the Becker College Dean's List for the fall 2016 semester. The dean's list recognizes all full-time students (24 or more credit hours earned for the academic year; 12 minimum each semester - September through May) whose term grade point average is 3.50 or higher with no grade below a B- and no incomplete (I) or withdrawal/failing (WF) grades. Honorees from Berlin are Dylan Grasso, who is pursing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interactive Media Design; Rebecca Carriere, who is pursing a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing; and Valerie Slimskey, who is pursing a Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Science.

Marist College, Poughkeepsie NY

• A pair of students from Berlin were named to the Marist College Dean's List for the fall 2016 semester.
  Katherine Burek is a member of the Class of 2017 and is majoring in Communication. Courtney Nelson is a member of the Class of 2019 and is majoring in Business Administration.

Seton Hall University, South Orange NJ

• Courtney Scalaro of Berlin has qualified for the fall 2016 Dean's List. To make Dean's List, students must have at least a 3.4 GPA and can get no grade lower than a C.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Western New England University congratulates 390 students, including six from Berlin, named to the fall 2016-2017 President's List. Students are named to the President's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.80 or higher. Berlin honorees are Emily M. Dymczyk, majoring in Biomedical Engineering; Michael R. Veronesi, majoring in Biomedical Engineering; Nicole K. Veronesi, majoring in Civil Engineering - Environmental Concentration; Michelle L. Corriveau, majoring in Elementary Education-Psychology; Paige E. Young, majoring in Secondary Education-Mathematical Sciences; and Gabrielle E. Cyr, majoring in Social Work.
• Jordan Kradas of Berlin has been named to the Dean's List at Western New England University for the fall semester of 2016. Kradas is working toward a degree in Civil Engineering. Students are named to the Dean's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.30 or higher.
