BERLIN, CT — College students from Berlin recently achieved these notable accomplishments, as reported by readMedia Newswire.

Loyola University Maryland, Baltimore MD

• Kyra Daigle, a member of the class of 2019 from Kensington, has been named to the spring 2017 Dean's List at Loyola University Maryland. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.

University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI

• At the University of Rhode Island's 131st Commencement on Saturday and Sunday, May 20-21, 2017, about 2,600 undergraduate and 650 graduate degrees were awarded. The former students became the University's newest alumni. Alexandra Lynn Carbonell of Berlin received a Bachelor of Science, Kinesiology.
