Campus Notes - Berlin College Students

BERLIN, CT — College students from Berlin recently achieved these notable accomplishments, as reported by readMedia Newswire.

Becker College, Worcester MA

• More than 470 Becker College students were named to the spring 2017 dean's list. The dean's list recognizes all full-time students (24 or more credit hours earned for the academic year; 12 minimum each semester - September through May) whose term grade point average is 3.50 or higher with no grade below a B- and no incomplete (I) or withdrawal/failing (WF) grades. Local students are Rebecca Carriere of Berlin, and Valerie Slimskey of East Berlin.

Belmont University, Nashville TN

• This summer, Belmont has sent its largest group of students across the world for study abroad experiences. With more than 650 students participating in 34 programs, including Maymester trips, students have spent time in Greece, Brazil, England, France, Switzerland and Haiti, among many other locations. Participating students include Natalie Souza of Berlin, who traveled to Italy, and Alex Veronneau of Berlin, who traveled to Sweden and Denmark.
