Campus Notes - Berlin College Students

BERLIN, CT — College classes resumed about two weeks ago, but Patch is still receiving notifications of accomplishments by local students from the summer and even this past spring from readMedia Newswire.

Belmont University, Nashville TN

• Natalie Souza, of Kensington, qualified for Belmont University's summer 2017 Dean's List. Eligibility for the summer session is based on a minimum 9-hour course load over 10 weeks and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Caroline Scarrozzo of Berlin recently completed an internship with New England Financial Group in West Hartford, a division of Baystate Financial. Scarrozzo's major is Business Administration. Her role at New England Financial Group was marketing specialist. The position involved assisting a certified financial planner and his team with marketing projects including branding, web site development and coordinating a communications strategy. She also assisted with tasks related to registering and marketing a new business venture including web, logo, collateral design and development. On occasion, she also provided administrative and sales support assistance.

Merrimack College, North Andover MA

• Merrimack College recognizes three Berlin students who achieved dean's list for spring 2017: Kathleen Bosse, Taylor Budney and Karlee Pedemonti.
